My name is Eva Webster and I am a registered psychotherapist (qualifying) offering in-person sessions in Orillia and virtual sessions throughout Ontario. I believe healing happens through authentic connection. As a compassionate, relational therapist, I walk alongside children, adolescents, adults, and couples as they navigate grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life's many transitions. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be fully yourself—where vulnerability is met with empathy, curiosity, and genuine understanding. I believe every person's story matters, and that meaningful change begins when we feel seen, supported, and accepted exactly as we are.
I have a special passion for supporting individuals of all ages living with the effects of grief and trauma, as well as women's mental health across every stage of life, including the perinatal period, menopause, and the transition into an empty nest. I also work with couples seeking to strengthen their connection, improve communication, and navigate relationship challenges, as well as parents who find themselves wondering why parenthood feels more difficult than expected. Whether you're navigating a recent life event, relationship struggles, or carrying experiences from long ago, I believe healing is possible.
At the heart of my work is the belief that connection creates safety. When we experience a relationship where we feel understood, accepted, and supported, our nervous system has the opportunity to settle, heal, and grow. My role is to help you build that sense of safety while honouring both your story and your body's wisdom. Therapy is not about fixing who you are—it's about helping you reconnect with your strengths, deepen self-understanding, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, meaningful, and connected.
My practice is informed by extensive training in trauma, attachment, grief, and evidence-based therapies, including EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), somatic approaches, and mindfulness-based interventions. I continue to pursue advanced training in areas including women's mental health, polyvagal theory, sex and couples therapy, and narcissistic abuse recovery to provide compassionate, informed care tailored to each person's unique needs.
I approach therapy from a relational, attachment-focused perspective, recognizing that our earliest relationships and life experiences shape how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. I integrate evidence-informed cognitive therapies with body-based approaches because I believe healing involves both the mind and the nervous system. Together, we'll explore patterns, beliefs, emotions, and physical experiences with curiosity rather than judgment, creating opportunities for insight, self-compassion, and lasting change.
